Moody’s downgrades Credit Suisse’s senior unsecured debt and deposit ratings

Credit Suisse’s senior unsecured debt and deposit ratings have been lowered by Moody’s, the company announced on Tuesday.

“Moody’s Investors Service today lowered Credit Suisse AG (CSlong-term )’s senior unsecured debt and deposit ratings by one notch to A1 from Aa3,” the firm said in a statement. “At the same time, the rating agency affirmed Credit Suisse Group AG’s Baa1 senior unsecured debt ratings.” (Brenna Hughes Neghaiwi contributed reporting, and Riham Alkousaa edited the piece.)
